The
technology help desk is available
to assist students regarding their
classes. The help desk can be
contacted by emailing them at techsupport@fcu.edu.
The tech support team will have an
easier time in assisting students
if the student is aware of the technology
requirements and if they meet those
requirements. If you need assistance
in updating your system, contact tech
support and they can direct you towards
what you need and where you can get
it.

Connection
Speed
Broadband
internet access is highly
recommended. Dial-up
speed is just not fast enough to handle
streaming video. Dial-up is
also plagued with many other issues
such as being knocked off-line during
an in-coming call or interference
from static or other electromagnetic
forces causing a disconnect.
Using dial-up will not give a full
class experience, since you will only
hear the audio portion.

Adobe PDF format. You must have
Adobe Reader installed on your system.
This is a free program which already
comes installed on most computer systems.
If you do not have this, go to www.adobe.com
and download/install the free Adobe
Reader.
