Missions Trip Report - Ireland 2008
The
heart of FCU is to provide students with life-changing

Through our association with experienced, veteran
missionaries and missionary organizations we
are able to offer students the experience of
ministry on the mission field.
Students are encouraged to take at least one
mission trip during their course of studies
with FCU. Participation in an FCU sponsored
mission trip exposes students to all aspects
of preparation for a dynamic and fruitful time
of ministry on the foreign field. Students learn:

to raise funds to finance trip costs

Training
for specific ministry opportunities (such

Only veteran missionaries lead FCU missionary
trips. These same missionaries provide FCU
students with orientation and training for
each trip. As a result, FCU students gain
both spiritual as well as practical experience
in many different facets of effective missionary
work.

Mission Report - Ireland 2008
In
July of 2008 Faith Christian University led
a 10 day missionary trip to Ireland.
Perhaps one of the most beautiful places in
the world, and yet Ireland is in great need
spiritually due to the long standing war that
has wrecked havoc with their country.
The FCU missionary team led by FCU President,
Dr. Faith Fredrick and Academic Dean, Dr.
Ronald Smith had the privilege of bringing
the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
to these precious people.
Our
missionary team had opportunity to minister
in 7 churches throughout central Ireland.
They were also engaged in small group ministry
including Bible studies, one-on-one ministry
and street ministry. The team also conducted
intercessory prayer meetings and offered leadership
training in the churches. It was a powerful
time of ministry -- all were blessed, including
the FCU missionary team!
