ASSOCIATE OF BIBLE AND THEOLOGY DEGREE
There is a growing need for Biblical education and leadership preparation for those who desire to become the “salt of the earth.” Our Associate of Bible and Theology Degree is a 60-credit hour program that’s designed to help the students gain further knowledge and understanding of the Scriptures. This will equip students, throughout various seasons of life, to develop Godly character and establish a strong life of faith. This degree program will give you the knowledge and tools to help you construct well-reasoned theological principles which which can be effectively applied in your personal life and ministry.
BACHELOR OF BIBLE AND THEOLOGY
Our Bachelor of Bible and Theology degree is the answer to your call for a life of ministry. Teachers, pastors, evangelists and all those who plan to teach and preach the Word of God will gain an advantage, since the courses in this program have been put together to provide a foundational knowledge of the Old and New Testament, with an emphasis on theological studies and Biblical language and exegesis.
BACHELOR OF MINISTRY
The Bachelor of Ministry program places an emphasis on preparing the students for a dynamic, effective ministry, which continues to be the most powerful tool for Christian service. The bachelor’s in ministry program has been designed to make you theologically and Biblically grounded to pursue the vocation that God has chosen for you.
BACHELOR OF CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP
Preparing the leaders of tomorrow, FCU is committed to helping students make their professional dreams a reality. The Bachelor of Leadership program places an emphasis on developing and training those in every vocation and ministry calling to pursue and realize their full potential as a leader and a person of influence. Students enrolled in our Bachelor of Christian Leadership program will examine Biblical foundations, the basis for transformation as a global leader.
BACHELOR OF CHRISTIAN COUNSELING
Christian counseling degrees are designed to provide students with an in-depth introduction of various concepts used in the evaluation of emotional and mental difficulties. The Bachelor of Christian Counseling degree is a pastoral counseling program designed to be used within the framework of Christian service by providing you with a clear understanding on various subjects such as, human behavior, brain functions and the various theoretical and practical psychological approaches to Christian counseling. Christian counseling degrees are offered in cooperation with the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). Those who are interested in pursuing a career in Christian counseling should prepare by earning at minimum a bachelor's degree.
(The FCU Counseling Program is not recognized by the State of Florida for professional licensing.)
Per State of Florida, Department of Education Statute: FCU does not guarantee the acceptance of transfer credits to other institutions except those accredited through Accreditation Commission International. Transfer of credits from FCU to other institutions of higher learning are accepted solely at the discretion of the institution to which a student is applying.
MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAMS
This program is designed to prepare the student for more ministerial excellence and effectiveness. What makes our master’s program unique is that it specializes in a specific area of study which is directly related to your ministerial call. In addition to coursework and a thesis, graduate students will fulfill an internship corresponding to their field of study. Upon declaration of a specific program major, the Academic Dean of Faith Christian University will conduct an orientation with the Graduate degree candidate and customize a program of study that adheres to the student’s vocational goals in ministry. The Master’s Program consists of 10 courses (30 credits), individually selected to advance the student’s calling and interest. It also includes an internship program (9 credits) and a thesis (6 credits). Students can opt for 2 more courses in lieu of a thesis.
(Prerequisite: A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60 hours in Bible and Theology from an approved college or university. *Applicants with a strong undergraduate program in religion may petition for advanced standing in the program, which could allow them to qualify for an accelerated study and savings on their tuition.)
MASTER OF BIBLE AND THEOLOGY
Advance your career in Theology and Biblical studies with a master’s degree from FCU. The Master of Bible and Theology degree offers students an opportunity for in-depth Bible and Theological study. Complementing our Undergraduate Program, the Master of Bible and Theology provides the student with ministry application opportunities in the field through an internship practicum. As a student enrolled in the Master of Bible and Theology program, you’ll continue to benefit from an amazing educational experience that’s led by an exceptional faculty.

The program is designed to sharpen your skills in self-awareness as a leader and to become more effective in the organizations or groups in which you serve.
MASTER OF CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP
This program is offered in a Christ-centered environment and offers superb career preparation for leadership effectiveness. The Master of Christian Leadership program places an emphasis on developing and training those in every vocation and ministry calling to pursue and realize their full potential as a leader. In this program, you will learn to navigate complex social and cultural systems in both a local and global spectrum, because leadership is so much more than what you do; it’s who you are.
MASTER OF CHRISTIAN COUNSELING
While students who pursue a Master of Christian Counseling may practice as a licensed counselor, the primary aim of our Master of Christian Counseling program is to ensure an exacting degree of expertise in counseling, along with a solid foundational background in ethics and various coping techniques used to manage vicarious stress, and other psychological needs. This Biblically based program is designed for those involved in pastoral counseling within the framework of Christian service. It will enable you to meet the emotional, spiritual and psychological needs of all age groups. The Master of Christian Counseling program prepares the student for a wide range of contemporary challenges encountered in the local church and Christian ministry.

To encourage focused research endeavors in our students, each Doctoral program at FCU is a continuation of the student’s desire for further study in preparation for ministry and God’s calling, wherever it might take them. Each 44-credit-hour program consists of 7 courses, an internship and the dissertation. The Doctoral programs are designed as in-ministry education for ministry professionals. The programs will build on ministry experience and previous education, while challenging the individual candidate to pursue and realize their full potential. The aim of our Doctoral Program is to prepare our students to contribute through practice, theory and research in ways that are meaningful to clinical practice.

Our Doctor of Theology degree is not only your gateway to a deeper understanding of the Bible, spiritual formation, and our rich Christian history; it has the widest application for Christian ministry preparation. This program is ideal for ministry leaders, teachers, evangelists, pastors, ministers, educators and other church leaders with a specific call to preach and teach the Word of God. Subjects include areas related to the study of how God relates to man through the Scriptures. While the bachelor’s and master’s programs give you a tool box full of ministry skills, the Doctor of Theology is designed to provide you with a more robust theological framework and a thorough investigation of the Scriptures.
