This course is brings the learner to a new level of understanding regarding who God is and what His desire is relationally with His people. Included in this class is a detailed examination of absolute and moral attributes of God.

CHT103 Christology
Through a systematic study of the life of Jesus, Christology examines the person of Jesus as the “author and finisher of our faith”. This study is paramount in developing an effective ministry that contains a vibrant faith. The impact of the redemptive work of Christ as it relates to the building of the Kingdom of God is thoroughly covered is this course.

CHT105 Covenant Theology
To acquire an understanding and greater knowledge of the Blood Covenant in human history. To understand the Abrahamic Covenant as a covenant of promise. To realize that God is the originator of the blood covenant.

CHT106 Grace
This course is designed to assist in coming to an understanding of God’s greatest gift, the gift of grace, and to be enabled to operate more fully from the reservoir of God’s operational power in your life and ministry. This class will teach you what it means to receive grace, how grace is seen, and how not to frustrate the grace of God in your life.

CHT110 Principles of Faith
This course is designed to explain the concept of faith in God and His Word. Emphasis is placed on defining what faith is, how to receive and increase one’s faith, and how to release one’s faith in their daily life and ministry.

CHT111 Principles of Prayer

This course is designed to examine the scriptures on the principles of prayer and to help the students prepare to pray with greater confidence and effectiveness. The New Testament reveals that much power is made available through the effective and fervent prayer of the saints. This class will give you the guidelines to experience this power.

CHT112 Praise Life
This course is created to equip believers to the power, patterns, principles, and practices of praise and worship. You will also experience a pilgrimage in worship leading us into the throne room of God.

CHT113 Christ the Healer
This course is designed to provide the student with a biblical study of divine healing. God’s will to heal all today is evident throughout Genesis to Revelation, as well as the various methods and means to receive healing. This class will bring about a firm establishment in this truth and prepare you to minister healing to others.

CHT115 Life & Teaching of Christ I
A thorough study of the divinity and life of Christ and His earthly ministry as recorded in the four Gospels. This course also includes a historical survey of the Intertestamental Period. The political and socio-economic parameters that influenced His ministry are examined as well.

CHT116 Life & Teaching of Christ II

As a continuation of The Life & Teachings of Christ I, part II addresses the last week of Jesus earthly ministry. This course examines in detail the great message of liberation that the atoning work of Christ provides.

CHT117 Doctrine of the Holy Spirit I
A thorough study of the Pentecostal doctrine of the Holy Spirit giving attention to the person and work of the Holy Spirit. This course focuses on knowing and experiencing the Holy Spirit's presence and empowerment in the Christian life.

CHT135 Discipleship I
We must guide new converts to a place of stability in their relationship with God and their Kingdom involvement. This course presents the philosophy, approach, and tools that will assist the student in leading others to maturity.

CHT139 Writing For Success
This course is specifically designed to enhance students skills in the English language usage, writing in preparation for writing demands of their role in ministry and writing research papers throughout their course of study at FCU.

CHT223/224 Church History I and II
These courses are designed to teach the student the origin of the Christian church, its birth and development from the Day of Pentecost to modern times. They give the opportunity to learn the lessons of history in order to create our own godly heritage and legacy.

CHT229 Dynamics of Faith
To examine the various Scriptural dynamics that act upon our faith. How these Godly spiritual forces serve to initiate, strengthen and under gird our faith, bringing us to victory in receiving the promises of God.

CHT233 Understanding Righteousness
This course is designed to present a clear understanding of what righteousness is, the need for it and how it is obtained through biblical principles. As an integral part of our Redemption, righteousness is not only the position of the believer, but a powerful force operating within the Kingdom of God. This class supplies the ability to wield the force of righteousness.

CHT225 Ministry Gifts
This course is designed to teach the student the function and characteristics of the five-fold ministry. The Word of God teaches these five-fold callings carry with them their own anointing and gifts. This class assists in locating one’s own calling as well as supplying an appreciation for these gifts.

CHT227 Spiritual Gifts
This course is designed to give the student a working knowledge of the nine gifts of the Spirit as described in 1 Corinthians 12 & 14. Each gift will be described and understood through biblical and present day examples. This class will place you in a position of availability and openness to the moving of the Spirit.

CHT231 Hermeneutics
We are told in the scriptures that we are to rightly divide the word of God. In this class students learn how to interpret the scriptures accurately. Principles are given that will keep the Bible student in truth and out of error. This course is imperative for all those who plan on preaching or teaching God’s word.

CHT243 Biblical Finances
This course is designed to provide a study of God’s plan of provision and abundance for His people. The Word of God repeatedly speaks of the blessing of the Lord for His people and their obligations for financial stewardship. This class will serve to position you to receive and to faithfully manage God’s abundant supply.

CHT322 The Anointing
This course is designed to teach the students to identify the anointing of God in the Old Testament & the New Testament. The anointing of God is the supernatural equipment provided by God to get the job done. This class positions you to receive His anointing as well as the ability to release that anointing to others.

CHT335 Ministering By The Holy Spirit
This course explores the gifts and ministry of the Holy Spirit as it relates to one’s personal call to ministry. Mature Christians with a well-defined ministry, or those in the developmental stages, will become more fruitful by understanding the dynamics of a Spirit-led ministry. This class discovers the Biblical pattern of God’s call to His servant as it relates to every aspect of ministry.

CHT345 Ministry of Helps
This course is designed to help the student understand the value of serving in the Body of Christ. Jesus Himself came to serve, not to be served and has instructed us to follow His example. No matter what your place in the Body of Christ is, this class will strengthen your service and develop Christ likeness within you.

CHT351 Patterns for Revival
By exploring the patterns of history that led to the great moves of God, we can learn how to position ourselves in the Body of Christ today to experience the outpouring of the Holy Spirit others have encountered in times past. This course outlines in detail the godly principles that usher in revival among God’s people.

CHT353 The Trichotomy

This course is designed to learn to differentiate between spirit, soul and body. With a firm biblical understanding of the tri-part composition of man, you are poised for greater spiritual growth and development. This class will also prepare you to accurately ascertain and minister to the needs of people.


CHT359 History of the Bible
This course is designed to give understanding of the basic facts about the origin of the Bible essential for every Christian. Inspiration, the biblical canon, major manuscripts, textual criticism, early translations, and modern versions are some of the major topics that will be discussed. This class will deposit a greater respect and appreciation for the Bible.

CHT363 Conformed to His Image
This course is to help and to equip each one to walk in maturity and purity in their ministry calling until they reach their destined purpose. This class will prepare you to fulfill your destiny and get the maximum benefits along the way.

CHT365 Introduction to Greek
This course is to introduce the student to the original language of the New Testament. Upon completion of the course, the student will have a working knowledge of Greek grammar, vocabulary, and some of the more common tools used for Greek exegesis, along with word studies to moreaccurately interpret a Bible text.

CHT437 Israel and Bible Prophecy
This course studies the amazing place Israel has in the last days. What do current events in Jerusalem tell us about the end times? Jerusalem has a rich, fascinating history spanning more than 3,000 years. But the city's most significant days are still to come. The stage is now being set for both a terrifying destruction and an amazing deliverance...far beyond what anyone could ever imagine!


CHT449 Angelology

This course is designed to teach the student about the origin, activity and ultimate destiny of the two great hosts of angelic beings, angels and demons. This class will provide a biblical understanding of the angelic realm, their realm of influence and authority, and our dealings with them.

CHT455 Spiritual Warfare
This course is designed to give a biblical understanding of the demonic realm, its structure and operations, and the authority believers have over it. This class will give you a proper biblical perspective of the power of the enemy, his defeat at Calvary, and how to exercise our delegated authority over him.


CHT467 Eschatology I

This course offers an in-depth study of the book of Daniel as it pertains to historical and prophetic content. Through this exciting course, the student will gain an appreciation for the providential power and sovereignty of God. Eschatology I provides the prophetic glimpse into the unfolding plan of God for His people.

CHT468 Eschatology II

As a continuation of Eschatology I, part II explores the prophetic literature penned by John in the Book of Revelation. Through a focused study of the Book of Revelation; with its figurative language and apocalyptic events, students taking this course will explore the dimension of who Jesus is and His ministry towards man. God's divine plan for the end of the Church Age is juxtaposed with the rampage of satan, as the unparalleled events of human history are about to climax.

TH416 Revelation
This course is designed to give you a greater revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through a proper study of the Book of Revelation, with its figurative language and apocalyptic events, a further dimension of who Jesus is and His ministry towards man is revealed. This class focuses on God’s divine plan for the end of the age as opposed to the final rampages of the enemy.



BIBLE

BIB101 Old Testament Survey I
Providing an overview of The Old Testament from Genesis to II Kings, this course gives the student a solid overview of the Old Testament. The perusal through each book presents the author, message, theme and spiritual emphasis revealing the intertwining thread of redemption to mankind.

BIB102 Old Testament Survey II
This course is a continuation of Part I. The splitting of the Kingdom ushered in a new methodology of God's interaction with His people, that of the prophetic message. The power of a covenant keeping God provides the platform from which this study blossoms.

BIB103 New Testament Survey I
This course is an historical and thematic survey of the contents of the four Gospels and the Book of Acts. Particular attention is given to the cultural, historical and geographical settings for the preparation, entrance, and ministry of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

BIB104 New Testament Survey II

This course is a continuation of New Testament I and offers a historical and thematic survey of the contents of the New Testament from Acts to Revelation. Special focus is given to the impact of the message of Kingdom living that the epistles present, not only to the Greco-Roman world but in our day as well.

BIB209 Acts of the Holy Spirit I
This course is designed to be a study of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament Church. The Acts of the Apostles could be more accurately entitled the Acts of the Holy Spirit. From the opening chapter to the final unending story, it is the Spirit that moved upon individuals to perform the miraculous. This class will review those acts for the purpose of learning the ways of the Spirit and how to yield to Him.

BIB311 Petrine Literature
This course is designed to explore and discuss several of the major themes found in Peter’s letters. This class supplies practical applications with understanding concerning; the believer's relationship to God and others, the place of suffering in a believer’s life, filtering the error of false teachers with the power of Truth, and the certainty of the Lord's return.

BIB313 Pauline Literature
This course is designed to study the writings and revelations of Paul to the Church. Within his letters, the Apostle Paul details what is known as The Pauline revelation, which he received directly from the Lord Jesus. The Pauline revelation reveals to us what Jesus accomplished in Redemption, the Church’s position in Christ and the work of the Spirit. This class follows these truths throughout his writings.

BIB315 Johannine Literature
This course is designed to explore the overall content of John’s gospel, it’s purpose and related teaching. While the other Gospels survey a large variety of events in Jesus’ earthly ministry, the Gospel of John zeros in on several key events, personal encounters, and statements in the life of Jesus. This class brings truth to the deity of Jesus and establishes belief in the Son of God.

BI406 Daniel
This course is a study in the Book of Daniel. In addition to the historical and prophetic content, this book is a tremendous revelation of the providential power and sovereignty of God.

BIB417 Ephesians
This course is a study on the major themes of the Book of Ephesians. This powerful epistle develops the believer’s responsibilities in maintaining unity, godly conduct, healthy relationships and how to stand firm in spiritual conflicts. Learn to practically apply the wisdom of the Scriptures.

BIB419 Galatians
This course reviews the cultural background and history of the church at Galatia, its strengths and weakness. Careful analysis of faith versus works is discussed from a doctrinal viewpoint. Special emphasis is given to the spirit-filled life of the Christian with application to our every day lives.

BIB421 Romans
This course is designed to understand basic truths of salvation and to clarify terms such as: Justification, Sanctification and Grace. The truths in this epistle are the cornerstone for Christian doctrine and belief. This class will lay a solid, doctrinal foundation from which the great truths of the Church are built.

BIB423 Colossians
This course gives the student an overview of the history and cultural background of the church at Colosse, its strengths and weakness. Special emphasis is given to Christian doctrine found in Colossians and the heresies that were being spread in Colosse at the time of this writing. Application is given to Paul’s admonishment to the Colossians as it relates to our present day lives with emphasis on the believer’s authority.

BIB425 Hebrews
This course is designed to study the book of Hebrews with emphasis on the "Superiority of Christ" and His high priestly work. The ministry of Jesus takes on richer depth and clarity as this epistle is taught and understood. This class will provide that in addition to Jesus’ present day ministry to believers today.



COUNSELING

CHC304 Counseling Foundations
This course outlines the fundamental principles of Christian Counseling. Students learn that effective ministry is a combination of natural and supernatural principles. This course covers such topics as; ministering the love of God, the issues of confidentiality, and the ministry of healing the heart and soul of God’s people. This course covers the basics of restoration.

CC408 Pastoral Counseling Models
This course describes and demonstrates Biblical models for counseling, effective models for crisis interventions and special issues for those experiencing emotional issues of loss or grief. This class will grant you the ability to lovingly care for and minister to some of the greatest needs in a believer’s life.

CHC418 Conflict Management
This course is designed to describe and to demonstrate the five basic styles of conflict and how to deal with it in a positive way. It is vital to every person desiring ministry and leadership in any capacity. This class will prepare you for the conflicts that inevitably be encountered.

CHC419 Ethical and Legal Considerations of Counseling
The Christian Counselor must pay close attention to the many issues surrounding the topic of ethics. In this course difficult issues are addressed to prepare the Christian Counselor to minister with wisdom and effectiveness in keeping with the word of God and abiding by the laws of the land.

CHC429 Christ Centered Memory Counseling
Theophostic is comprised of two words; God and light. This course teaches the pastoral counselor how to bring the light of God into any difficult counseling session. In this class students learn how to allow the Great Counselor, Jesus Christ, to bring healing and revelation into the lives of hurting people.



MISSIOLOGY

FMI301 History of Missions
This course helps to gain an understanding of how missions work began, tracing it from the early pioneers, their vision, strategies and difficulties and how missions work has changed over the centuries. With this knowledge, you will gain the wisdom and understanding amassed through the years of service of these dedicated servants. This class will serve as an invaluable resource for years to come.

FMI309 Comparative Religions
This course is designed to present an overview of the world’s major religions and non-Christian cults and to make the students aware of their impact on the history and current events of our world. With a basic understanding of these religions and cults, you can more effectively reach the hearts of those trapped in these bondages. This class will give you the resources to achieve such a purpose.


FMI407 The Holy Spirit and Missions
This course is designed to examine the expansion and growth of the church through the operation and action of the Holy Spirit in the light of His powerful and supernatural manifestations. The Spirit was expressly given to empower the Church to be a witness. This class will give you understanding into the various ways and means that He accomplishes His mission.

FMI411 Acts: A Global Vision
This course is designed to study the Book of Acts as a manual for worldwide evangelism. By following the pattern that brought in a mighty harvest with the early church, we can experience the same results in our own harvest fields today. This class is a powerful study of the Spirit’s work to draw the world to the saving knowledge of Jesus.



PASTORAL MINISTRIES


PLM301 Communication in Ministry
Effective communication is the heart of every ministry, business and life in general. This course is designed to enhance and enable each student to become a better communicator. It reviews the communication model, factors that hinder communication and organizational skills to facilitate all facets of communication; both written and oral. This class is invaluable to leaders in the Body of Christ who sole job is to communicate the most powerful message in existence; the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

PLM303/304 Homiletics I and II
Homiletics I is designed to acquaint the student with practical principles of preaching and teaching. It is through the "foolishness" of preaching that God has chosen to reach the world. This class will give you the framework from which the Holy Spirit can build a word that will transform a life. Homiletics II is a preaching/teaching lab allowing the students to apply what has been learned in Homiletics I.


PLM306 The Laws Of Leadership I
Based upon Dr. John Maxwell’s 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership. This course will transform you as well as your prospective of your ability to lead. This class takes the leader on an informative journey of discovery and strength.

PLM307 The Laws Of Leadership II
A continuation of the Laws of Leadership I based upon Dr. John Mawell’s teaching. When a leader learns and applies these laws, not only will they find fulfillment, but the ones they lead will fulfill the destiny of their own lives. This class provides the leader with the laws that will govern their success in ministry and life.

PLM309/310 The Timothy Program I & II

This course examines the principles taught by Paul to his son in the faith and future minister; Timothy. Special emphasis is given to the keys of effective ministry especially towards the aspiring minister. Paul outlines in these epistles powerful truths that every minister should embrace and practice.

PLM315 Introduction To Christian Education
This course is a study of the basic principles and practices of organizing, administrating, and supervising a balanced program of Christian Education. A thorough exploration of the concepts of Biblical instruction and teaching dynamics is included in the course material. The functions of the Board of Christian Education, the Christian Education Director, and the role of church workers in the education process will be examined as well.

PLM421 Ministry Preparation I
This course is designed to search the heart of a leader through character development. Do you desire to grow and develop to your potential as a leader in ministry? Do you desire to bring the glory of God and edify the Church? This class will plant those desires within you as well as the practical steps to see them fulfilled. It is for the benefit of the potential leader or the seasoned veteran in ministry.

PLM423 Ministry Preparation II
This course continues with preparing the leader and developing the minister. The Biblical pattern of preparation, as well as the examples of great biblical characters, will be fully examined. Days of preparation are never wasted days. This class will maximized your potential during these days
