Christian University offers fully accredited
ministry degree programs designed to
empower students for effective ministry
according to Ephesians 4:11-12:
And
He Himself gave some to be apostles,
some prophets, some evangelists, and
some pastors and teachers, for the equipping
of the saints for the work of ministry,
for the edifying of the body of Christ
(NKJ).
Our
programs place strong emphasis on building
a personal life of faith in order to
inspire others to a life of faith. Each
program level will awaken vision and
spiritual insight towards the individual
calling and destiny God has prepared
for each student.
DIPLOMA
OF Bible and THEOLOGY
Program One Prerequisite: High
School Diploma or GED
This
30 credit program lays a foundation
in Bible and Theology, builds Godly
character and establishes a strong personal
relationship with God. It builds confidence
in every student, from the new believer
to the seasoned minister. Program 1
applies to ministers, teachers, youth
leaders, lay leaders and all Christian
workers. The Diploma of Bible and Theology
is awarded upon completion of Program
one (30 credits).

ASSOCIATE
OF THEOLOGY
Program Two Prerequisite: Successful
completion of Program One (30 credits)
Program
Two continues to build a strong theological
foundation. Studies focus on history
and Theology. Students continue to gain
further knowledge, understanding and
application of the Scriptures.
At
this level students are encouraged to
get involved in their local church and
begin to activate what they have learned
both in their personal life as well
as in a ministry environment. The Associate
of Bible and Theology is awarded upon
completion of Programs one and two (60
credits).

ADVANCED
DIPLOMA IN THEOLOGY
Program Three Prerequisite: Successful
completion of Programs One and Two (60
credits)
Program
three is the beginning of the selected
major and electives designed to lead
students into greater levels of ministerial
excellence. Courses at this level are
specifically designed to strengthen
the student's personal relationship
with God and to prepare students vocationally
toward their ministry calling with an
emphasis on the leading of the Holy
Spirit in their life and ministry. To
receive an Advanced Diploma from FCU,
students must have completed 60 hours
in Bible and Theology (including “Ten
Core Courses”) (30 credits)
BACHELOR
PROGRAM
Program Four Prerequisite: Successful
completion of Programs One, Two and
Three (90 credits)
The
Bachelor Program offers a continuation
of courses in the major with accompanying
electives. To receive a Bachelor of
Ministry degree from FCU, students must
have completed 60 hours in Bible and
Theology (including “Ten Core Courses”),
30 hours in the major and 30 hours of
elective study. This includes all transfer
of credits up to 60 hours from an approved
college or university and FCU approved
ministerial experience credit.

BACHELOR
OF BIBLE AND THEOLOGY
This is a general program with the widest
application to ministry. The Bachelor
of Bible and Theology degree applies
to all ministry calls; teachers, pastors,
evangelists and all those who plan on
teaching and preaching the Word of God.
BACHELOR
OF PASTORAL MINISTRY
The Bachelor of Ministry degree includes
a strong foundation in Theology with
special emphasis on leadership, pastoral
dynamics and practical ministry application.
This program develops leadership ability
and enhances ministry skills for expanding
vision and faith.
BACHELOR
OF CHRISTIAN COUNSELING
The Bachelor of Christian Counseling
degree is a pastoral counseling program
designed to be used within the framework
of Christian service. It prepares students
to meet the emotional, spiritual and
psychological needs of all age groups
and addresses a wide range of contemporary
difficulties normally encountered in
the local church and Christian ministry.
This degree is offered in cooperation
with the American Association of Christian
Counselors (AACC). (The FCU Counseling
Program is not recognized by the State
of Florida for the purpose of professional
licensing.)
BACHELOR
OF MISSIOLOGY
The
Bachelor of Missiology degree prepares
the student to answer the call to missions.
This major provides the student with
the foundational, philosophical and
practical methodology to win the lost
abroad and to establish churches and
para-church ministries on the foreign
field.
Per
State of Florida, Department of Education
statute: FCU does not guarantee the acceptance
of transfer credits to other institutions
except those accredited through Accreditation
Commission International. Transfer of
credits from FCU to other institutions
of higher learning are accepted solely
at the discretion of the institution to
which a student is applying.
